Upgrading the SSD in My Dell Inspiron 13 2 in 1 7373 laptop. Dell said no, Crucial "YES"

I owned my Dell Inspiron for about 5 years and decided it was time for an upgrade of the SSD.
Not because I needed it, but because I wanted it. I really wanted to find out if Dell was telling me that there was no way to upgrade past the 512GB limit they set. Also the mentioned you can use a PCIe, not PCIe NVMe. That's what they said.
