We live in a culture that has forgotten the sacrifices many have made for Jesus and the cause of Christ. As I went through the 'Foxes Christian Martyrs of the World', I was reminded of what was fought for and paid for by the blood of martyrs.

Looking at the 7 Churches of the book of revelation, we see 7 historical churches as well as 7 types of churches as described in chapters 2-3 alive today. Sad fact that we are in the age of the church of Laodecia. A lukewarm church. A "rich" church. One thinking it's in need of nothing. Far from reality.

As we take a look back, we see the church started out explosively, but as always, the enemy is there to counterfeit the work of Christ and pollute it.

May we remember the sacrifices made by those that have gone before us and take this time left in church history to share Jesus with a world that so desperately needs Him!
