Does peeing in the woods frighten #deer while #hunting ? IMO, No! Proof watch video!

First day of gun season for #whitetail deer. I decided to do an all day sit. I decided I wasn't going to worry about peeing in a bottle instead I just let it rip right from the tree stand in front of me. I then took out some doe pee and puked a little on top from the stand as well. I did this four times throughout the day. I saw a raccoon in the morning come through and nothing else the rest the afternoon. I continued to sit. At about 5pm I saw two does come out about 100 yards away. The started slowly feeding down game trail towards me. I hunt public land so the deer are not the easiest regardless of bucks or does to hunt. Especially here in the #Florida #greenswamp were hunting pressure is high and the #swamp is thick and wet.
Well the #deer then totally shocked me when they left the main game trail and headed straight for my tree where I had peed from all day. Eventually coming within five yards in front of my tree. I estimate from the tree that is how far I peed. She then answered another long debate I have had with people about deer looking up. I have always said deer will definitely look up and this deer looked straight up at me 20ft in the tree. She couldn't make out what I was because I was in a ghillie suit and remained motionless as she began stomping and snorting trying to get me to move. I stayed completely still and she slowly turned back the way she came, gathered the baby and slowly retreated into the bay head where the had came from.
So I will never pee in a bottle while deer hunting again. And at 52 that is great news for me. Also, always camouflage good and or go high if you can because those deer know that threats can come from above.
