Hunter Biden leaves House in dark over testimony about business deals

President Biden’s troubled son, Hunter Biden, is currently in Washington, but House investigators are grappling with uncertainty regarding his potential appearance for a deposition regarding his father’s involvement in business dealings.

Republican lawmakers, overseeing an impeachment inquiry into whether President Biden engaged in influence-peddling, have scheduled a closed-door deposition with Hunter on Wednesday morning, compelling his attendance through a subpoena.

Despite the committee room being prepared to record the deposition, there is ambiguity surrounding Hunter Biden’s willingness to participate.

A source closely associated with the investigation informed The Washington Times, “We don’t know what’s going to happen.”
