Hezbollah says group's operations are a legitimate resistance and defense against the Israeli enemy!

Lebanon front open as long as Gaza aggression continues: Sheikh Qassem

The Deputy Secretary-General of Hezbollah, Sheikh Naim Qassem, underlined on Wednesday that the Lebanese Resistance group is on very high alert, affirming that the Lebanese front will remain open as long as the Israeli war on Gaza continues.

During his speech at the memorial service for the three Hezbollah fighters who were martyred in Syria on Tuesday, Sheikh Qassem pointed out that "since the beginning, we, as Hezbollah, declared that the Lebanese front is a supporting one," stressing that, "this support is a duty and not optional, and it is in the interest of Lebanon and Palestine."

"What Hezbollah is doing is legitimate resistance and defense, indeed a duty, because this enemy only understands the language of force to deter it and prevent it from achieving its goals, now and in the future," he indicated.

The top Hezbollah official mentioned that "it is not known now whether the pace of fighting will remain fluctuating up and down in this limited circle, and we have said that this is related to the developments on the ground and the decisions that Israel may take, and we are ready for whatever comes."

"Threats, temptations, and linking what is happening on the borders to any internal [Lebanese] matter will not affect us," he concluded.

This comes as the fighters of the Lebanese Islamic Resistance - Hezbollah continue to carry out operations against Israeli occupation forces on the borders with occupied Palestine in support of the Palestinian Resistance in Gaza, amid the ongoing Israeli brutal war on the Strip.
