William Luther: ‘Bidenomics’ needs to commit to low and steady inflation

William Luther, Associate Professor of Economics at Florida Atlantic University, says the Biden administration needs to stop mimicking Europe’s economic policies, rein in government spending, and focus on lowering inflation rates. “I’m not so surprised that these policies that we’re calling ‘Bidenomics’ here are so popular abroad because they’re really European policies. The Europeans, they love picking winners and losers, and as a consequence of that, they have a much lower living standard than we’ve become accustomed to here in the U.S.,” says Luther.
