Flu Vaccine & Guillain-Barre

It was the year 1997 when Denise Cook got her “first and last flu vaccine” at a pop-up immunization event at her kids’ school. At the time, she did not see any connection between the shot and her symptoms of paralysis that followed it. It wasn’t until years later when Denise came to that conclusion: “This didn’t just happen, they injected the problem into me.” This experience transformed her mindset about the medical community.
