Sharkical Collection | 3 | Ocean Bits

The first track I finished for the album, this track was for a short timed event in the game, so I wanted it to have a sense of urgency. I also wanted it to be light-hearted, and as I was searching for inspiration, I found myself very influenced by the bossa nova genre.

This album was made for a video game project someone was working on. They decided to drop the project, and so I'm releasing it on my own. The game was about an 8-bit shark traveling throughout the different oceans, and so each song represents a different level players would have to beat. I didn't want the music to all have that "under water level" stereotype, so I had to get creative with it. Each song is as unique as each body of water and the surrounding ecosystem.
