Salon seems to enjoy employing writers with a flair for dramatic verbiage and an aversion to rational argument. At one point this article says that instead of “arguments over … defining ‘genocide and ‘free speech’ , the important issue is: Republicans are lying hypocrites”.

If you want to be lied to, Salon is willing to supply the liars.
