I get a boat ticket from Professor Elm before I enter the bug-catching competition again, which I lost with a Lv. 18 kakuna. Then I board the ship to help a grandpa find his missing granddaughter and a crew member find his lazy coworker. After reaching Vermillion City, I fight Lt. Surge for my first Kanto gym badge.
