12/12/2023 Grzegorz Braun, a member of parliament from the Confederation, used a fire extinguisher to extinguish the menorah during Tuesday's Hanukkah ceremony in the Polish parliament. Footage posted online shows Braun spraying a large menorah, extinguishing lit candles, and being enveloped in a cloud of smoke as a crowd of reporters gathers around him.
