Skier narrowly avoids high-speed collision with bear

The world’s luckiest skier just bearly avoided a grizzly pile-up at a Lake Tahoe ski resort on Sunday, when a passing bear failed to adhere to traffic laws and cut him off at high speed. TikTok user Tao Feng managed to capture his near miss on camera, making this one of those rare times when a GoPro is actually useful.

Feng later reported that the bear was racing to catch up with its mother. Presumably, the bear’s mom will have given her child a stern talking to on the dangers of not looking both ways when crossing a busy road, full of high-speed dinner.
