12/12/23 card: change

It is utter madness to expend time and energy on trying to control things that are clearly not yours to control. You can’t control the weather. You can’t control the way other people drive. You can’t make someone do something they don’t want to or aren’t capable of. Focus on the things you can control - your own happiness, your behaviors, your skills. This is where serenity lies.

God, grant me the serenity to
ACCEPT the things I CANNOT CHANGE,
the COURAGE to CHANGE THE THINGS I CAN,
and the WISDOM to know the difference.
