DIY Solar Generator: What Will It Power in an Emergency

In this video, I go over how I plan on expanding my DIY Solar generator and what it will power at this point. This DIY solar setup is very basic and includes a 100-watt solar panel, a 1000-watt Renogy Inverter, and a 30 Amp MTTP Charge Controler with a 100 Amp Hour Battery.

While this basic power generator will get you through a short-term emergency, it won't power higher-wattage household appliances for long.

This video explains what you can expect from a system this size, and how you could expand it to fit your needs.

Part two of this video will explain all the parts, and how they fit together: https://youtu.be/mtA9iFLU7mQ
