Fierce battles rage between Israel and Hamas in Gaza as civilians suffer

Fierce fighting continues between Israel and Hamas in and around the southern city of Khan Younis in Gaza. Civilians barely coping with displacement are now going without food for days, as the U.N.'s World Food Program warns its humanitarian operation in the territory is on the brink of collapse.
