Dear Pastor Bob: I watch your videos every morning and enjoy them very much. I wanted to get your thoughts on something that’s been on my mind recently. I’ve made some friends at the Immortal Fest shows. Some are in bands. Not the bigger bands, but they’ve made a couple albums. When I got back from the shows we messaged each other fairly regularly talking about music. Lately, none of them are responding to my messages. They seemed like nice guys when I talked about their music and buy their CD, but once I buy their CD they stop talking to me. Another guy is a former youth pastor. He was talking to me a lot. Now, he’s not responding either. I don’t know what’s going on. I listen to secular music also, but obviously nothing satanic or negative. I’m wondering if I’m not Christian enough for them. I know people have things going on with their lives and are busy, but they are all active on Facebook. I don’t understand how we go from talking frequently to them not responding at all. I loved the Immortal Fest shows. It is the music I love and I was with people that share my same values. I’m debating on not going to next year’s Immortal Fest. I’m also debating on getting out of the Christian Metal Group Facebook page and unfriending those guys. If they were my true friends they wouldn’t ignore me like this. I just wanted to get your thoughts.
