Fighting lions in Masai Mara National Reserve

The driver explained to us that the two boys are 'brothers' from the same pride and that they often share their meals. We watched in awe to see how relaxed they are around us and didn't have a care in the world. That is...until one of the lion decided to mount the lioness. The other lion did not like that and came running. That is when I caught the video of the lions fighting. Did we just see that?! Incredible how fast it started and how fast it ended. Everyone parted their own ways afterwards. The poor defeated lion wincing as he walked away. His face was obviously mauled by the other lion. Wow!
