Japan RULES the Box Office! Disney FAILS and Godzilla WINS!

Japan dominated the domestic box office with Godzilla Minus One and Studio Ghibli's The Boy and the Heron. The success of Hayao Miyazaki's final feature, after coming out of retirement, coupled with the insane second week success of Toho's blockbuster, thoroughly trounced the competition.

Disney with their beleaguered offerings of The Marvels, which FINALLY broke the $200 Million barrier and Wish making it to $100 Million, just couldn't match the Eastern success.

Japan, Korea and other Eastern media is destroying Western output. You know why? Because they prioritizing STORYTELLING and leave THE MESSAGE at home!
