This episode we will take a close look at the history of education, and Music Education, in the past 400 years and who is credited with bringing it to its current state of madness that is the U.S. Department of Education. Why did we ever let go of Classical Education that was the 7 Liberal Arts and why is it that every time I read an old book from a well regarded, or ostracized, philosopher or astronomer they seem to know more about the inner workings and true nature of music than almost all the musicians I've ever interacted with (trained or not). Is the current state of public education truly developed to help grow an educated populace or is it simply there to create wage slaves...technicians with no ability to grasp what it is they can actually provide humanity?
