Credible's Classic Matches - Samoa v Japan (RWC 1999)

Long before Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney showed up, Wrexham's Racecourse Ground hosted International Matches - most notably the Welsh National Football Team (the last match before their arrival being a 1-0 victory for Wales over Canada in 2011, with Paul Parry scoring the only goal of the match).

However, back in 1999, the Racecourse Ground hosted one of the Pool D matches - Japan v Samoa.

Let's go back in time to just before the new century and to the North Wales town which is now very much in vogue...
