Section 702 of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act, which allows the government to search communications of certain non-Americans located overseas without a warrant, will soon expire. Many conservatives are speaking out in support of a bill written by Representative Andy Biggs that was passed by the House Judiciary Committee and would update the law to require warrants in the future.
