Rwanda row: Is the UK facing an early election?

MPs will vote on Tuesday whether to back the government's controversial bill to send asylum seekers to Rwanda.

Levelling Up Secretary Michael Gove told Sky News the government is "not contemplating" an early general election because ministers are "confident" the Rwanda bill will be approved.

But a group of backbench Tory MPs will meet on Monday to review a legal opinion on the text of the bill - they will decide whether or not to support the plan.
