FSB uncovered Kyiv's intelligence network in Crimea

▪️The FSB of the Russian Federation stopped the activities of a deeply hidden large Ukrainian intelligence network, whose members were planning attempts on the life of the head of the republic Sergei Aksenov, the speaker of the Crimean parliament, the mayor of Yalta, blogger Alexander Talipov, and former Ukrainian deputy Oleg Tsarev.
▪️In addition, department employees prevented 14 acts of sabotage and terrorism: explosions of six sections of the railway, two gas distribution equipment facilities, three electrical substations and three vehicles.
▪️Also, 15 caches were discovered on the peninsula, from which 37 improvised explosive devices and more than 200 kilograms of explosives were seized.
▪️This year, the FSB detained 18 Ukrainian agents and their accomplices for sabotage and car bombings.
▪️ “For the crimes charged against the defendants, the legislation of the Russian Federation provides for punishment in the form of imprisonment for a term of up to 25 years,” the FSB reported.
