We're sunny and stable today, helping Kern County to warm up a few degrees from yesterday. That means afternoon highs in the lower to mid-60s here in the valley with moderate air quality. The Kern River Valley is a little warmer in the upper 60s this afternoon like the Kern Desert, but the south mountains are in the low 60s with calm winds.
