Many churches celebrate a season of Advent before Christmas. Advent celebrates … the coming of the Lord, Jesus. It is a time of anticipation and preparation, for both the first coming of Jesus at Christmas, as well as His return, which is His second coming.
Advent is a time of expectant waiting; it is a time of rejoicing; and it is a time of hope and faith. We rejoice the coming of the Lord to be with us, walk with us and we with Him.
He is called Emmanuel, God with us.
This message takes a biblical look at Christmas, the first advent, and the second coming of Jesus Christ ... The 1st and 2nd Emmanuel.
