Maryland sheriff’s deputies rescued a deer that had become stuck in a pool in Bel Air on Thursday, November 30, footage from the Harford County Sheriff’s Office shows. The deer got stuck after it fell through the pool cover, into the chilly water. This footage shows the deputies cutting through the torn pool cover and lifting the deer out. After recovering and warming up, the deer was safely returned to the woods, the Harford County Sheriff’s Office said. “For all deer out there training to be on Santa’s reindeer team, please know that there are better methods than swimming during winter,” the sheriff’s office said on Facebook.
