Palestinian girl survives 4 days under rubble

A young Palestinian girl is being treated in a hospital after reportedly being trapped under the rubble of her family home for four days. Maria Abu Safi was buried under debris following an Israeli airstrike, and has been recounting her harrowing story to hospital staff.

Maria recalls how she was trapped without any food or water, trying to spend time asleep because she was in so much pain. She also says she found the body of another girl under the rubble, who turned out to be her cousin.
