How Many Times Will God Repair You Before Giving Up?

Have you ever been at a point with a vehicle, where you have replaced so many broken parts, and have drained so many resources, that you have to decide whether to cut your losses and move on to another one, or try fixing it one more time? Why do we expect God to continue to fix us and our issues, if we never "run" correctly, and he never reaps the benefit of all the work and resources that he puts into us? Praise God, that he is so patient, merciful, and forgiving!
