The Infamous NES Game: Holy Diver 1st Try

When I joined the Twitch community, many of the retro side of things told me stories of game never released to the states. It was called HOLY DIVER. I cannot imagine playing this as a kid and beating it. Let alone attempt as an adult. I've been told it's incredibly difficult, the control is rough, and every stage requires a lot of mental thought. And they are not wrong.

So as a community challenge, I set the bar VERY high for this game! The challenge was barely met but it was.

Reason for over 9 hours: I had a gimmic for my twitch channel. The game starts at 8 hours but can be extended with subs and some redeems. People pump in a bit of both to extend that timer to over 10 hours. I cannot say how mentally drained I was after playing this game.

I do plan to play this game down the road again and have another community challenge. The game will resume where I left off, (at stage 4).

No save states where used unless the level was completed incase of a crash and of course, resuming the game. Keep an eye on my twitch channel if you like to watch the next special live event stream of this game!
