Return to Utah Slots in Palo Duro Canyon

Through the Open Palo Duro FB group, we worked with Palo Duro Canyon State Park and Texas Parks and Wildlife Department to obtain a special use permit to make the hike to the Utah Slots in the restricted area of the park. The hike was a complete success. We're now going to go work with the state and the park to implement a type of permit system to make hikes like this possible more often.
