Episode 2: 'Journeys of Desperation'

* Ebrima, resident of Malta but original from The Gambia. Ebrima's facebook page is called: Ebrima's Migration Situation.
* Ismaila from The Gambia, who has a desire to educate and employ young men in his nation, to provide them with a reason to stay home, and develop a local economy.

'Illegal Migration Unveiled in Africa' is the subject of the second episode of Freebirds Media. Ebrima and Ismaila are giving an update about the current situation concerning the dangerous journeys the youth of Africa is taking to have 'a better life' in Europe. However they are extorted, abused, misled, kidnapped and murdered by human smugglers. Ebrima travelled 'the backway' some years ago and lives in Malta now. He has a facebook page called Ebrima's Migration Situation. Daily he follows the news about the boats who leave Africa and arrive in Malta, Italy and Greece. He has several Whatsappgroups with over more than 4000 people who are mostly parents of these young children. In this video Ebrima talks about the missing and kidnapped children and other horrible things that happen to those kids while they travel.

Ismaila lives in the Gambia and he sees the young generation leave the country because they feel they don't have a future in their country. These last weeks he met boys who have been captured in the northern African countries and returned to the homeland. They are traumatized about what happened to them.
With this video both men want to warn and discourage the youth of Africa NOT to take this dangerous journey! And to inform the parents what is actually going on! We all want to make the world aware of what is really going on in Africa.
