Blinky is an owl with large, flat eyes, strong vision, and powerful night vision. They can fly at speeds of over 40 miles per hour and slow, thanks to their large wings. They have two types of feathers: down and contour, with unique, dense, and soft, hair-like barbules. Blinky has a broad, elliptical face with concave feathers around it, which collect sound waves and direct them towards their ears. They have four toes, two forward and two backward, and flexible joints in their toes. They use long, sharp talons to ensnare and kill prey, piercing through the flesh and skulls of many animals. Blinky's neck is more flexible than humans', with 14 vertebrae and a socket pivot. It can rotate its head by up to 270 degrees and has a short, curved beak with a sharp hook at the tip. The beak faces downward, allowing Blinky to grip or tear apart prey without blocking its field of vision.
