Before prayer today, theologian and attorney Kevin McCarthy will discuss the role of the early American bishops and St. John Neumann in the proclamation of the Immaculate Conception by the Catholic Church.

Kevin B. McCarthy JD, STL, a lawyer since 1973 and a theologian from 2013, is a Catholic husband, father, and grandfather who, together with his wife, raised five children and now has the joy of seventeen grandchildren. Mr. McCarthy lived and studied in Rome for seven years and in June 2013 received the Licentiate in Sacred Theology, magna cum laude, from the Pontifical University of Saint Thomas Aquinas.
