Muncie Community Schools sent a message to parents Wednesday afternoon that said they were made aware of the threat around 9:35 a.m. "Muncie Central takes any and all threats very seriously," said school officials. "Muncie Central officials were immediately in contact with the Muncie Police Department and the Delaware County Sheriff's Department." The schools said that "all appropriate measures" were implemented to keep students and staff safe and local law enforcement officials are working with US Marshals to identify where the threat originated from.
