One of Orlando's Most Haunted Buildings

Downtown Orlando is home to this 1800's building. Elijah Hand was one of the original owners that turned the building into a mortuary on the lower level and furniture store on the top level. He was the originator of embalming in this area and because of this, he was so busy, that he needed to use the upstairs furniture to keep the bodies until he could get to their embalming procedures. Many clubs and bars have tried to open businesses here and none ever last more than a year or two because of the spirits that linger inside.
