The Magical Season

Rio Hondo Prep's magical season came to a close up in Central California in the Division 4-A State Regionals. The Kares fell 29-14 to Mission Oak of Tulare in a back and forth game that could have gone either direction. The 210 Prep Sports media outlet named Head Coach Mark Carson as its Coach Of The Year; it also named Noah Penunuri and Nate Curtis as Co-Players Of The Year. Coach Carson makes one final appearance to recap the season and honor the Seniors from his team. We also discuss what lies ahead for the program and some thoughts on next season. It has been an honor to write the lyrics for the incredible music that the program has produced over the past few months. May we continue to create more melodies and harmonies in the future forever.
