This is part of the Woody Durham collection on the Native Content YouTube channel.

Playing in their sixth ACC conference game and fifteenth overall for the 1983-1984 season, the Tar Heels were facing familiar Tobacco Road opponent Wake Forest. Carolina came into the game an unblemished 14-0 and hoping to continue their winning ways.

The Heels would dismantle the Deacs and manage to get biscuits before biscuits were a thing. Overall Carolina would sail through the regular season with a perfect ACC record and a 26-1 overall record having just one loss to Arkansas and their two eventual top 10 NBA draftees Joe Klein and Alvin Robertson.

This would be the last of three seasons for Michael Jordan who would leave North Carolina with just one National Championship but a reputation for a guy who just might be something special at the next level.
