FBI Director Christopher Wray Gets Grilled At Senate Judiciary Committee Hearing

FBI Director Christopher Wray said that it would be "devastating" to law enforcement's capacity to combat cyber and terrorism threats if a Senate committee were to reject the renewal of the U.S. government's authorization to carry out warrantless surveillance outside of the country on Tuesday.
Several Republican senators questioned Wray, a Republican appointed by former President Donald Trump, over the ongoing probe against President Joe Biden's son Hunter Biden. Republicans accused Wray of allowing political bias, citing testimony from IRS whistleblowers involved in the investigation.
