NT Bible Study 87: cont. sermons: meek & Psalm 37 (Beginning of Jesus' Galilean Ministry part 47)

This is a comparative Bible study on the events surrounding the beginning of Jesus' Galilean ministry. This 47th part continues discussing Jesus' Sermons on the Mount and Plain, in particular, (1) a brief recap of the "meek" and "...poor in spirit..." possibly being akin to love not vaunting itself and not being puffed-up; (2) Jesus apparently referencing Psalm 37; and (3) we read and commented on Psalm 37 being similar to the beatitudes in its tone. (Matthew 4:23-5:3; Luke 6:17-20). Other verses referenced during this Bible study are: 1 Corinthians 13:4ii, Psalm 37:11i; and Psalm 37:1-40. Overall, this is our 87th New Testament (NT) Bible study. I'm a layperson, hoping to witness things I believe I've learned through Bible study, and would like to share this information as a friend would with a friend.
