Local organizations receive grants to continue work

Nonprofits CASA for Johnson and Wyandotte counties, and Synergy Services Youth Center just received grants from the Health Care Foundation of Greater Kansas City. At Synergy Services, the money will help fill the gap left by a lost $100,000 Health and Human Services grant, while at CASA, leaders will recruit, train, and support more volunteer advocates.
