Adventure Now Season 2 Ep. 8. Sailing Altor of Down from Seydisfjordur and into the Arctic Circle!

Thank you for watching Episode 8 of Season II, Adventure Now! Here is our first full episode in Iceland! We have been blown away by the raw beauty of this place. We find that visiting these northern latitudes feels dramatic without anything happening! We guess that is the scale of the scenery that towers above us when we enter a fjord! It makes you feel so small and insignificant.

In this episode we have a look around Seydisfjordur and see some of the destruction caused by the landslide in December 2020. Then we head north to Vopnafjordur and Raufarhöfn where we visit the Arctic Henge and then we sail north into the Arctic Circle!! This felt like an amazing achievement to us and from this point we sailed into the beautiful port of Husavik on Altor of Down, a Moody 44.
