Adventure Now Season 2 Ep.11 Sailing Altor - Klaksvik to Leirvik, Fuglafjordur, Runavik & Torshavn

In this episode we sail Altor of Down, a Moody 44 from Klaksvik and visit Leirvik, Fuglafjordur, Runavik and finally arrive back into Torshavn after riding the extremely powerful tide and currents of the Faroe islands south. These tides can be extremely dangerous without knowledge of their direction and strength. For tidal flow information we use the RAK tide app, an invaluable tool for safe passage around the Faroe Islands. Our arrival in Torshavn concludes our awesome tour of the Faroe islands for this season.
We see Bottlenose whales in Fuglafjordur and go swimming in the cold north Atlantic fjords.
