The Book of Revelation is sometimes called the “Apocalypse,” which in Greek means “revealed or uncovered”. 

The Apostle John is the author and wrote it from the island of Patmos at a time when Christians were facing false teachings, apathy, and severe persecution

This lesson is intended to help you understand some of the symbolism in the book of Revelation and what it can teach you about Jesus Christ.
