Adventure Now Season 2 Ep 12. Sailing Altor. Torshavn to Loch Inchard & Loch a' Chadh-fi, Scotland

In this episode we sail Altor of Down, a Moody 44 from Torshavn in the Faroe Islands back to the west coast of Scotland. We arrive in Loch Inchard at 4am. After a visit from Border Force later in the morning we move one loch south to Loch Laxford and Loch a' Chadh-fi (Ardmore) where the Rigdway School of Adventure is located as is their beautiful 1975 Holman & Pye Bowman 57 ketch called English Rose VI. This yacht has completed several circumnaviations and expeditions into the Southern Ocean with the family owners and is still a beautiful yacht. In fact John Ridgway has sailed many thousands of miles and even rowed across the Atlantic with Chay Blyth in 1966 in a 20ft open boat. We didn't actually know that "sailing greats" lived in this beautiful loch until we arrived!
