Hunting In Texas On The Rio Grande River

I took advantage of a sunny morning to document some of the variety of crabs near my camp. A locked boat ramp nearby was used by several federal, state, and county border patrol units. We see two units headed upstream on their patrol mission for the day.

I was hunting for nature scenes that morning and found crabs hunting for food and mating partners. What do you suppose those government patrol boats were hunting for?
