Déjà Vu, a point-and-click adventure for the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES)
Déjà Vu came out in 1985. Point-and-click adventures weren't the most popular genre back in the day, but many people still liked them.
I haven't played this since I was a child and I didn't read a guide beforehand. I read how long it takes the average person to complete and I was about within the range. I spend a lot of time going in circles not sure what to do.
For one thing, if ever you are out of coins, you need to examine the far-right slot machine and you will always find a quarter, then play the slot machine until you win, then repeat every time you need more coins.
I was always sure to have at least 3 coins remaining after going anywhere so I could return to Peoria and win more coins. You have to pay the cabbie 75 cents every time. If you attempt you leave without paying or try to kill him, you're arrested and the game is over.
