A retailer recently came out to decry the terrible writing in modern comics that makes them unsellable, and a group of self-righteous comic creators immediately jumped in and attacked his business, his looks, etc. Basically, they blamed everyone but themselves for putting out product no one wants to buy. With a divide coming up between creators and retailers, can the direct market survive? Will the floppy market be gone in a decade or sooner?
