First Try FAIL To Free - Vintage Horse-Drawn Sickle Mower Recovery

McCormick New Big 4 (1890s - 1900s). Sitting out there for a reported 115 years or so. Overdue for it to come home to the farm compound to be preserved as legacy ... all historic meddling on my part. Excellent conditions to get out in that dormant alfalfa field (finally) and try a little tractor-pull action with the Envoy in an attempt to break it free after more than a century of sinking into the ground. ONLY a few inches but enough to hold her tight.
Notes:
1. While previously worked and owned by landlord's family, this equipment is too close to the modern state land border for comfort. Which technically means any yahoo with a heavy truck, crane and bullet-proof vest can legally salvage these things (as I understand; don't quote me). Major motivation to get it close and safe. Despite the "useless junk" vibes. History rolls out but once, however and may have a different perspective in the future if they can be preserved.
2. This goes for the Mad Max mobile hay bale hoist cobbled together out of a 1943 GMC pickup sitting nearby. A masterpiece of American DIY engineering of levers, gears and re-welded pieces.
