Home Place agrees to Carmel annexation after 12-year battle

A 12-year battle to annex a section of central Indiana by Carmel ended this week. Home Place, found in southern Hamilton County, will be annexed by Carmel in January 2018 following a negotiation by Concerned Citizens for Home Place and the city. Home Place is bordered by 99th Street to the south, Pennsylvania Street on the west, 111th Street to the north and Westfield Boulevard to the east.
