Blossoming Feelings (Winter/Christmas Track)

This song was made for the 21 Days of VGM challenge. This particular day's challenge was to write a track for a mock game cutscene (down below). In the prompt there are two characters. I wanted the melody to mimic a conversation (again, explained below), so I used the flute to represent the girl, and trombone to represent the boy. It was a wintertime scene, so I couldn't resist putting sleigh bells in. Only quietly; just like the night would have been in the scene.

In this hypothetical game, there is a scripted cutscene showing a flashback of our protagonist and their love interest as children. The two children are meeting up at a solitary lamp post - their usual meeting spot - just after nightfall to enjoy the beauty of the first snowfall of the year. They've been doing this for years, are both bundled up, but the conversation is much more sentimental than usual.
